KARMA Medical was started many years ago, in 1987. There was an aim set to produce lightweight aluminium wheelchairs, and there has been continued further development ever since. We are proud to say that the production of Taiwan’s first aluminium model was in that year, and since then the company has continued to explore new innovations. Our company is not just UK based, we are globally situated, in 1999 KARMA Medical opened its first manufacturing facility within Thailand in order to cope with increasingly popular demand. In the same year, KARMA Mobility gained the exclusive rights of distribution of these wheelchairs in the United Kingdom and Eire.
