Karma is a ISO 9001
certified company and is CE registered. It is also a member
of the British Healthcare Trade Association (BHTA) and, therefore,
conforms to their Code of Conduct. If
you are considering buying a wheelchair from a supplier that
is a member of the BHTA, they will also conform to the Code
and this will provide you with many safeguards. For example,
you will be properly assessed to ensure that our wheelchair best meets
your requirements before you buy it. You will have some of the
more important safety procedures pointed out to you. Finally you will
also be able to expect your supplier to offer a full after sales support
service.
Even if your chosen supplier is not a member of the BHTA,
it is likely to be an approved dealer for Karma products. This
means that they have agreed to provide the above essential
elements of support but are not bound to every other aspect
of the Code of Conduct.
